USA Water Polo selected the bid from the Mountain Zone to host the 2004 Men's Beginner and Development National Age Group Championship Tournaments. The event will be July 8-11 at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center in Kearns, Utah. This 32 team (16 Beginner Teams and 16 Development Teams) tournament will involve zone teams (club teams from some zones) from all eleven zones. 96 games will be played in two courses over the four days.

The 2004 Men's Cadet and Youth National Age Group Championships will be held June 28-July 1 in Long Beach, CA.

Athlete ages for each of these age groups for the men's events are as follows:

Beginner - born in 1993 or later

Development - born in 1991 or later

Cadet - born in 1989 or later

Youth - born in 1987 or later
